YSI Remote Monitoring Buoys DB600
Overview
The DB600 is a completely integrated all-in-one IoT system for remote monitoring, supporting a range of sensor configurations. The all-in-one system includes everything required to transmit sensor data direct to your fingertips, with industrial reliability suitable for critical applications. Fully programmable, high efficiency solar power system, online communications, and industry leading web interface, providing power and flexibility.
YSI real-time buoy systems are designed to provide laboratory grade water quality monitoring for inland & coastal applications in order to:
- Gain a better understanding of natural seasonal, daily and event variations
- Detect potential problems early on
- Model and forecast the movement and magnitude of the problem
The Remote Monitoring package includes:
- DB600 buoy (single person deployable)
- Lockable sonde tube
- Completely sealed All-in-one (Ai1) logging and communication system
- GPS tracking
- Fully integrated marine solar power and lithium battery
- 2nm solar powered LED light
This package is compatible with any of the YSI EXO sondes as well as with other third-party sensors.
